Hovland is a rising progressive house artist and producer from Oslo, Norway. Known for his ability to blend driving, progressive energy featuring playful, melodic elements he has over the past years established himself as an exciting figure in the scene, performing across Oslo’s thriving club circuit and electronic music communities.

With a sound fusing progressive momentum and emotional melodies, Hovland plays with a variety of subgenre elements in his productions and DJ sets. Prior to launching his new solo project, he released music under Von Dahl and as one-half of the duo Violand. His track "Antarctica" (as Von Dahl) has amassed over 150,000 streams, while "Sweven" and “Elude”, (as Violand) caught the attention of Miss Monique and Jordan Gill, respectfully. 

Hovland’s dynamic performances have led him to share the stage with industry legends, like Jeremy Olander and Sébastien Léger, earning an overwhelmingly positive reception. Now, he is gearing up for his next milestone—the release of his debut EP, "Iris," in collaboration with his label mate Marensius.
